Grasslands Public Schools will be conducting a Herbicide Program to control weeds on School Grounds and other School Division properties. The program will commence on May 22 and run until May 24, pending weather.
All herbicide applications will be in strict accordance with all regulations established by Alberta Environment, and rates will be at Federally approved label recommendations.
Herbicide warning signs will be placed on all treated Division Property. Please stay off treated areas until signs are removed.

Running two days per week, this new program is a great fit for families looking for a school with fewer students and a close-knit rural school setting. Children can benefit from more hands-on support, meaningful connections, and opportunities to build confidence, independence, and social skills.
For families who are homeschooling, considering school for the first time, or looking for a small and caring classroom, Gem School offers a unique option for Kindergarten.

Division Professional Learning Day - March 20th Reminder: Friday, March 20, is a Division Professional Learning Day, and there will be no school for students.
This day supports ongoing staff learning and collaboration across Grasslands.
We’ll see students back in class on Monday, March 23rd.
